Docoction :Treat for cholera with muscular spasm,latent summerheat,counterflow cold of the extremities,stabbing pain in the heart and abdomen.if to treat heat stroke,need to add 6g Notopterygium incisum root,if the vomiting and diarrhoea not seriously and feel normal feeling of heat and thirsty,then the Coptis chinensis could be removed and add the 6g China Dolicho Lablab L(White Hyacinth Bean) seeds,fry slightly,crushed before using.
